Transportation has been a part of Ryan’s life from the very beginning. Growing up, he worked alongside his father and brother at the family’s carpet distribution center, delivering flooring products to independent retailers throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. Those early experiences instilled a strong work ethic and laid the foundation for a lifelong career in transportation and logistics.

After spending time as a regional truck driver, Ryan transitioned into freight brokerage in the late 1990s. Over the past three decades, he has built extensive experience specializing in oversized equipment, lumber, and general freight. A Utah native, Ryan is known for developing lasting relationships with both customers and carriers while providing dependable transportation solutions and exceptional service.

As Utah Lumber’s Logistics Dispatcher, Ryan works closely with our traders, customers, and carrier network to ensure freight moves efficiently and reliably, helping deliver the level of service our partners have come to expect.

Outside of work, Ryan has been happily married for 38 years. He and his wife have two sons and two grandsons who are the center of their lives. Together, they enjoy crafting and spending as much time as possible at their cabin, making memories and enjoying the outdoors with their family.
