Raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Mike built his career around commodities and logistics from the ground up. He began trading hay before expanding into lumber and transportation, developing a strong foundation in supply chains, freight coordination, and market dynamics.

 

At Utah Lumber, Mike serves as both a Logistics Manager and Wholesale Lumber Trader, supporting the flow of product from mill to customer while also building and managing trading relationships. He focuses on keeping shipments moving efficiently, maintaining clear communication across all parties, and ensuring customers receive the right product, on time.

 

His ability to bridge logistics and trading allows him to bring practical, solutions-driven thinking to every deal, helping create consistency and reliability throughout the process.

 

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors dirt biking, backcountry skiing, and hiking whenever he can.
