Born and raised in the small town of Damascus, Oregon, Tanner graduated from Sam Barlow High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing from Portland State University. After moving to Bend, he quickly realized he’d found his permanent home and never looked back to Portland.

Tanner began his lumber career around 2017 and has spent the past seven years building expertise as a lumber trader. He specializes in selling Green and Dry Douglas Fir throughout the Northwest and West Coast, focusing on the pallet industry, distribution, and premium retail lumber. Tanner loves the challenge of helping his customers source the right products and creating value in every deal.

Outside of work, Tanner is happiest outdoors—fly fishing and backpacking but he’s equally content at home, enjoying evenings of barbecuing and relaxing with close friends and his loyal Golden Retriever, Creedence.
